Trump’s Family Business Must Also Close Clubs and Restaurants
The family business of US President Donald Trump is also confronted with the consequences of the corona pandemic. Hotels are set at a low level or no longer take reservations.
Some golf courses and restaurants are closed. Also at the exclusive Mar-a-Lago club in Florida, it is no longer ‘business as usual’.
According to the American newspaper The New York Times, dozens of employees have already been made redundant in New York and Washington.
The Trump Organization intervenes mainly where the authorities oblige. In other places, the company tries to keep things open as much and as long as possible.
It is even advertised on social media.
The family business is involved in over ten golf clubs and a range of five-star hotels in Chicago, Hawaii, Las Vegas, New York, Vancouver and Washington, and further in Ireland and Scotland.
