Travellers Arriving in Greece Must be Quarantined for Two Weeks

Travellers arriving in Greece must be quarantined for two weeks. According to a government spokesperson, that obligation applies to everyone, regardless of their nationality.

The measure is intended to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.

The Greek authorities have so far identified over 330 infections, and at least four patients have died.

The authorities are now also closing most stores. An exception is made for supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, petrol stations and food delivery services.

That measure will take effect on Wednesday. Previously, catering establishments also had to close.
