The new coronavirus is spreading ever further in South Korea. There were at least 31 infections on Tuesday, but there are already 104.

Most of the new cases have been reported in the city of Daegu. An infected woman would have attended church services there.

The virus first appeared at the end of the year in China. More than 74,000 infections and more than 2,000 deaths have been reported there.

Chinese researchers have reported that especially older patients and people who already have health problems are at risk.
