The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson Welcomed His New Cabinet on Friday

The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomed his new cabinet on Friday. As a thank-you for the confidence of voters, he promised to improve infrastructure, reduce crime and build more hospitals.

“It’s great to see you all here,” Johnson told his ministers. “Congratulations on achieving or maintaining your important positions within the government. We have to pay back the confidence of those who voted for us.”

A significant clean-up took place within the Johnson cabinet on Thursday.

The prime minister had already announced this earlier because he wants a team as secure as possible because of the approaching Brexit negotiations.

Some ministers remained in their posts, and others were fired by Johnson.

Surprisingly, Sajid Javid (former Minister of Finance) submitted his resignation himself, while he was expected to be allowed to sit.
