Shell Takes Over Large Swiss Charging Station Service Evpass

Oil and gas group Shell is taking over the Swiss charging station service Evpass. The largest provider in the country, according to its own words, is active in a third of the Swiss municipalities.
Shell does not disclose how much money is involved in the acquisition.
With the acquisition of Evpass, founded in 2016, Shell wants to take the next step in its goal of having 500,000 charging stations for electric cars by 2025. In 2030 there should be 2.5 million.
Evpass covers 3000 charging stations.
