Russian Hackers Attack German Sites After Arms Deliveries

Russian hackers have tried to paralyze the computer systems of several German government institutions. This is reported by the German magazine Der Spiegel.
The cyber attacks are said to have come after Berlin decided to supply weapons to Ukraine after.
According to Der Spiegel, the hackers made some important websites inaccessible for some time. These included the pages of the German Defense Ministry, the German parliament and several police websites.
The site of Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s German Social Democrats was also down for a short time.
The attacks on the messaging app Telegram were claimed by Killnet, a Russian hacker group. According to German responsibilities, the attacks are said to be in response to Berlin’s decision to export arms to Ukraine.
