Number of New Corona Cases in Germany Continues to Rising

The number of newly diagnosed infections in Germany last 24 hours has increased again.

 

The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German counterpart of the RIVM, reported 31,848 new infections in the last 24 hours on Friday.

That is an increase of about 5,500 from the number reported 24 hours earlier. The day earlier, there was an increase of 5,000 new infections.

To date, nearly 1,867,000 corona infections have been diagnosed in Germany.

The German death toll from the corona epidemic rose by 1188 last 24 hours compared to 1070 the day before.

In total, 38,795 people in Germany have now died from the effects of Covid-19.
