NATO Concerned about China’s Support for Russia

NATO is concerned about China’s support for Russia in its war against Ukraine. China is already covering Russia politically with “blatant lies and misinformation” about Ukraine and NATO, and there are also concerns about possible “material support,” NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said.

 

The 30 member states of the Western military alliance will discuss China’s role at their summit in Brussels on Thursday.

Stoltenberg “expects NATO to call on China to take responsibility”. He says that China must finally condemn the invasion and not provide practical support to Russia.

According to the United States, China wants to help its ally Russia, which is suffering from heavy sanctions from the West, financially and economically. Beijing would even consider military aid.
