Facebook and Apple Win on Wall Street After Figures Announced

The shares of Facebook and Apple were among the winners on the stock exchanges in New York on Thursday thanks to well-received quarterly figures.

In addition, investors on Wall Street are processing a fair amount of results from other companies, including machine builder Caterpillar, fast-food chain McDonald’s and car maker Ford Motor.

There are also new figures on the US economy and labour market.
