European Countries are Again Seeing A Significant Increase in Corona Infections

European countries have again reported significant increases in the number of corona infections.

 

Never before has such a large number of people been diagnosed with the contagious virus in 24 hours in Germany, the Czech Republic, Russia and Croatia.

Poland registered the most massive increase in the death toll since the start of the pandemic.

Russia, with 145 million inhabitants, reported 15,150 new infections, the Czech Republic (10 million inhabitants) of 9,721 and in Germany (83 million inhabitants) there were 7334 new corona cases.

Croatia, where about 4 million people live, registered 1131 infections. It was the first time that more than 1000 corona cases have been diagnosed there.

Poland reported the deaths of 132 corona patients in one day, the most massive increase in the death toll since the start of the pandemic.

There, authorities diagnosed a further 7705 people with corona infections in one day. That is less than Thursday when a record number of 8,099 infections was reported.
