The EU is shoulder to shoulder with the French in this new ordeal, said EU President Charles Michel after the stabbing Friday near the former Charlie Hebdo editorial office.
“There is no place for terror on European soil.”
Michel’s thoughts go to the victims of this “cowardly act of violence,” he tweets. “Full solidarity with the French people in this new ordeal.”
The incident near the old office of the satirical magazine, which was the target of a bloody radical Islamic attack five years ago, left several injured on Friday.
