Donald Trump Lashes Out at American Soccer Women After Winning Bronze

Former US President Donald Trump has sneered at the US women’s soccer team. The US took bronze at the Tokyo Olympics yesterday, and Trump said it would have been gold if “the team, led by a radical group of left-wing maniacs, hadn’t been ‘woke’.”

 

Yesterday, the United States won the consolation final in Tokyo against Australia. USWNT beat Australia 3-4, partly thanks to two goals from Megan Rapinoe. The equal rights campaigner hates Trump. She made that very clear in the summer of 2019, during the World Cup in France.

Even before the final, the tournament’s best player said that she would not go to the “fucking White House” for a possible ceremony out of dissatisfaction with Trump’s policy. It eventually came to a heated discussion on Twitter – the hatred is mutual. The former president makes that clear with his statement. He describes Rapinoe as “the woman with the purple hair”.

If our football team, led by a radical group of leftist maniacs, hadn’t been ‘woke’, they would have won the gold medal instead of the bronze. “Woke” means you lose; anything that is “woke” ends badly. And that has clearly happened with our football team.

Although there are still a few patriots, more is needed. They have to replace all the wokesters with patriots and start winning again. But, unfortunately, the purple-haired woman played terribly and spent too much time thinking about radical left-wing politics — and not her job.”

The US aimed for gold in Tokyo but had to recognize their superiority in Canada in the semifinals. But with their bronze, they are again in the medals, after the country surprisingly lost in the quarterfinals in Rio 2016. At the five Games from 1996 to 2012, they only missed gold as a losing finalist in 2000.
