Delta Air Lines Further Expands Large Order with Airbus

The airline Delta Air Lines has considerably expanded its order with the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus.
The Americans buy another 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft, bringing the total order with Airbus of that type of aircraft to 155.
According to Delta, the fleet must remain renewed and up-to-date. The airline expects the first aircraft to be delivered in the first half of 2022.
The ordered aircraft are more economical than older aircraft. For example, the A321neo has 194 seats and is mainly used by Delta for domestic flights.
The A321neo is worth more than 110 million euros in the Airbus catalogue. But, in general, companies are able to negotiate discounts, especially for large orders.
