Death Toll Coronavirus Spain Rises y More Than Six Hundred

The death toll from the new coronavirus in Spain has risen to 15,843. That’s 605 more than 24 hours earlier.

 

It is now the second day in a row that there has been a smaller increase in the death toll.

The number of infections has increased by about 5,000 to 157,022.

That is also a smaller increase than a day ago when the number of infections had increased by more than 6,000.

Spain has the highest number of infections in Europe. The country has been in lockdown for weeks.

People are only allowed to leave their home to run errands or if they have an essential occupation.
