British Prime Minister Johnson: Transition Period after Brexit, not Extended
The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson retains the present transitional period that he decided with the European Union in his Brexit offer. The British will leave the EU on 31 January next season.
The transition time period within the package operates until December 2020.
The time period can then be extended by another 2 yrs. That means that if the British House of Commons approves the offer, the EU guidelines will still apply to the British until at least the conclusion of 2020.
Nonetheless, these are no more permitted to get involved in EU judgements after January 31.
“The us government will never extend the changeover time period,” mentioned Johnson spokesperson today. “The prime minister thinks you will have a good price with the European Union at the end of 2020.”
He emphasised that all choices should be considered, together with a departure from the EU without having a package.
